I would have to say a friend of a friend with kids. One night my friend’s friend came to visit with her 3 year old daughter and 9 year old nephew. I was about to have my cool glass of water when her daughter comes over to me trying to reach for my glass. I realized she wanted to have some so I let her have a few sips. After which, I went to get a fresh glass of water which I drank. To my surprise, her nephew observed what I did in bad light and told his aunt I threw out the glass of water his cousin drank from. The mother was taken aback but I’m sorry, I wanted water not water mixed with baby saliva!
Well this character resonates with me because she resonated with my brother. He was ecstatic that the little girl Rue in the first Hunger Games movie resembled his sister (me) when I was a kid. I didn’t have too much interest in the movie before this and had to go see it myself. Love my brother!
I’ not sure but we’re on this journey called life and I’m exploring new things: smooth jazz, may look into a matchmaker *laughs, healthy cooking from the western world and spiritual feet. I’m more educational and non-profit so perhaps a spot on PBS.
In 2010, my relationship of five years ended. It was long distance but we’d see each other whenever possible. Unfortunately graduate school along with fears got in the way causing certain unforeseen actions to play out which I refused to forgive. It was difficult in the sense we established love, spoke of marriage after undergrad but plans changed on my part and I decided to go further with school. I asked him to wait (maybe selfish perhaps) but he tried to start something new and maintain our relationship. Nothing remains in the dark and I found out. I wasn’t angry at her, I was angry at him and at myself for maybe being too selfish. I didn’t accept his calls and apologies in the aftermath and we went our separate ways. My learnings from the relationship have been primarily positive opting to remember the good times, words in action and love nurtured. Souls may kiss but not necessarily stay together but that’s life! Pick yourself and try again!
I’m multi-talented… I sing and I write poetry. I formed a folk rock band with my friends in high school. Fun times.
Hmm keep studying you got this, you are an engineer in the future! Jokes aside, I’ve had a good high school experience but I would tell myself to get involved in more sports to be a little more well-rounded.
I’m feeling like our souls kissed and our heart expressions mirror to each other. You smile, I smile. A thoughtfulness that’s so refreshing, a calm that’s all encompassing…I’m feeling like you’re reeling me in.
