My family values. Without them I’d be swept away by the unexpected currents in life. With them, I may tumble but I always get back up and away from the vice.
Perfect. Song: I will be right here waiting for you. My late Dad always listened to this 80’s music radio station in the car and this song almost always played in the mornings when he took my bro and I to school. One of his favorite artists Richard Marx. Miss you Dad!
I’m going to be lighthearted and say a dining experience I had at a restaurant built into a mountain overlooking the beach in the Caribbean. It was beautiful, even the stairs to go up to the restaurant were built out of the mountain. Oh well I wanted to be married at that location so those plans have certainly changed. On to it!
I would have to say a friend of a friend with kids. One night my friend’s friend came to visit with her 3 year old daughter and 9 year old nephew. I was about to have my cool glass of water when her daughter comes over to me trying to reach for my glass. I realized she wanted to have some so I let her have a few sips. After which, I went to get a fresh glass of water which I drank. To my surprise, her nephew observed what I did in bad light and told his aunt I threw out the glass of water his cousin drank from. The mother was taken aback but I’m sorry, I wanted water not water mixed with baby saliva!
Well this character resonates with me because she resonated with my brother. He was ecstatic that the little girl Rue in the first Hunger Games movie resembled his sister (me) when I was a kid. I didn’t have too much interest in the movie before this and had to go see it myself. Love my brother!
I’ not sure but we’re on this journey called life and I’m exploring new things: smooth jazz, may look into a matchmaker *laughs, healthy cooking from the western world and spiritual feet. I’m more educational and non-profit so perhaps a spot on PBS.
I won’t say weird, but I do dance to reggae and r&b in the comfort of my home on weekends.
